Title: Trauma Awareness Day at the Landing
Post by: subro on May 18, 2010, 10:43:10 AM

First Coast News is having Trauma Awareness Day at the Landing today from 11am â€" 1PM to highlight awareness of the dangers of texting and driving. They are displaying vehicles that have been totaled in an accident and I just saw them land the Trauma Helicopter at the end of the street between the Times Union and the Landing. The tail rotor was within 10 feet of a light pole and I am shocked at what a small space the helicopter can land in. It was a very cool sight and will be there until 1:00 this afternoon.
