QuotePONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) â€" Tiger Woods has entered The Players Championship as he fills out a schedule that is not much different from previous years.
The only change is that Woods is giving tournaments a chance to promote his appearance.
This is the second straight time Woods has made an early commitment to an event. For years, the world's No. 1 player waited until the last day before signing up for most tournaments.

I have never been to a PGA tour event. How are they? They seem boring on tv, but there are many fans on the side lines
I enjoy it because I walk the course and interact with the other fans. It is almost a festival type atmosphere. You probably "see" more actual golf on TV.
The TPC Sawgrass is a great event. What most people do not know is that the PGA Tour is a non-profit (unique amongst the major sports leagues) and generates loads of money for local charities at each event. Here is a list of charities they help from their website http://together.pgatour.com/causes/ (http://together.pgatour.com/causes/). I would list them here, but it would make the post too long.
If your favorite golfer loses do you guys stop supporting the PGA?
Cooly-
F'ing priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of Tiger Woods...
Just got back from the Landing for lunch where I was checking out the 157' yacht moored there. I asked a couple crews guys while loading up supplies and asked who it belonged to. One of them answered "just a wealthy man".
I asked if was a wealthy man playing golf for a living to which he replied "maybe". :D
I looked it up... the Casino Royale belongs to Tiger.

It does not belong to Tiger Woods, the Casino Royale belongs to John Staluppi.

You're correct. I should've known when I didn't see Hooter's girls being loaded on hand trucks up the gangway.
I've seen this boat on two occasions at the Atlantis in the Bahamas - crazy, it wasn't even the Belle of the Ball in that marina!
I saw Taylor Dayne at the jax beach 8 til late.
Before or after the collagen? No bad for 50-ish.
I saw Rodney Allen Rippey at The Roadside Inne in Brunswick.
Nice. ;)
