Sorry if this is a repeat thread...I can't keep up with them all around here.
So they are both about the same in low fat goodness however do you prefer for them to make it (and be cheap on the handle) or do you prefer to make it yourself and pile it on (if you so choose)?
Mochi is always a packed house. They really need to expand. We didn't even go in last night because, well, we couldn't really. There must be a fire code violation going on in the place!
Yogaberry was more relaxed, a line but not a crowd. The cups there are more expensive for less goodies, IMO.
What's yours?
I like the one out at the River City market thing (Yogurt city?) but Mochi is awesome too.
I tried yogaberry a long time ago and wasn't impressed- they only had like two flavors and the yogurt wasn't smooth like the other places. My wife said it's comparable to Pink Berry- not a great value and a boring flavor list that tries to encourage adding fruit for flavor.
Mochi has some *amazing* flavors. It's so good I've never even used a topping. But you are correct- we don't bother with Mochi on the weekends and even most evenings we have to take it back to the car to eat it becasue it's so crowded inside.
Yogaberry has more flavors now than it used to and a killer fat free chocolate but I would much rather do it myself. There's another one coming soon called Happy Cup over on the Southside.
Mochi should really think about expanding their capacity....
I prefer Mochi over Yogaberry - more variety and much less expensive.
True. Much less expensive is always the favorite for me.
I have a new favorite - Happy Cup.
They have peanut butter/dark chocolate swirl. YUM!
