Don't know but was it taken from Karpules Museum?

Julian is correct. That photo was taken from the north end of confederate park, past the edge of the monument to the women of the southland in Confederate park. You are looking at the old car storage building from the Calude Noldan Cadillac building, now known as the EH Thompson building.

Yes, Julian hit it right on.  We'll have to make these things a little more difficult.

I don't know the name of it, but it's on the SE corner of Prudential and Kings, across the street from the Wyndam Hotel and Kings Avenue skyway station.

That's a nice little area of redevelopment.  It was mentioned at the rail/BRT meeting, held by Councilwoman Johnson a few weeks back, that JTA is interested in purchasing this area for a potential transit center associated with BRT.  Let's hope this does not happen.  For some strange reason, we've historically found reasons to destroy areas where reinvestment is already taking place, instead of improving ones where it's not.  Sooner or later we have to deviate from that type of planning.

Cathedral?

Here's another hint:  It's not located in the Cathedral District or east of Main Street.

Can't be First Baptist, can it?

No, it was originally a Catholic church.  I'd say its one of the most impressive and overlooked historic religious structures in the urban core.

How about this one?

Its the Old Rosary Catholic Church in Springfield.  It's one of the few remaining examples of Romanesque Revival style architecture in Jacksonville.  It's located on the NE corner of Laura and Cottage Streets.

Its actually a very cool little thing. It predates the Civil War.

Is it in Springfield?

I have no idea but would love to know where this is.  That is a great picture, btw.  The contrast of the gloss-black door and the green of the plants and moss growing on the door...could be artwork on a wall.

Nope, Not Springfield...

Another Hint...

It is in the architectural heritage book.

Its in this cal-de-sac It predates the Marabong mansion, but was incorporated into the mansion as a wine cellar.
