Saw this on Facebook. It says that they are opening at 21 E. Adams Street sometime this fall. It's going to be "Downtown Jacksonville's Premier Asian restaurant". Anyone have any other info about it?
Yes, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to say anything...
Of course you are Rockstar, you better grow a quick back bone. :)
Is this the former Firehouse Subs location?
I too know loads of info on this (and other things) but cannot say, all very top secret. Just thought I'd share that.
In all seriousness I didn't find anything on sunbiz.org if they were registered under "Indochine."
If they will be serving authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, I'll crawl there on hands and knees! The French influence on Asian cuisine as it merged in Vietnam created some of the world's greatest food.
The address is the same as burrito gallery. Upstairs?
My backbone is steely strong and intact, thanks for the concern. It's just not my place to out information I've been told in confidence. That being said, Steve is on the right track.
That's interesting. I've seen the upstairs portion of Burrito Gallery a couple of times. I always thought it was a great layout for something if they chose to use it.
I hope they are open on the weekends....
So for those of you who were at Art Walk this Wednesday you may have seen the owner of Indochine (Mark) out on the sidewalk in front of Buritto Gallery passing out menues, business cards and details of his new restaurant, which is hopefully to open by the end of this month! I had the opportunity to take a walk upstairs and I am very excited about the overall setup so far. I asked Mark to join the forum, so hopefully he has and hopefully he can chime in and add more details.
