I don't normally watch the George Lopez Show but I just happened to have it on the television and it immediately caught my eye.
It's Jorge Cordova's jersey, and according to imdb the episode was from 2005, just after he was drafted by the Jags. He's from SoCal so maybe Lopez knew him back then...

Of all the teams you would think Steelers or Cowboys, but its good to see somebody else thinking of the Jags.
Bono wore a Jags jersey when U2 played the stadium several years ago, but only the 50 or so people in attendance (myself included) saw it. ;) I also recall Jessica Simpson rocking the jersey prior to the Super Bowl.......that was nice.

The producer of the Lopez show is a proud alum of JU and fan of the city. When I worked with the same producer on Suddenly Susan he would also have some of the extras/atmosphere where JU soccer jerseys. The Jags jersey was a tribute to the producers close ties and love of Jax nothing to do with any rumored move for the team.
