Title: Jacksonville has Groupon
Post by: JeffreyS on March 23, 2010, 07:40:37 PM
Jacksonville finally has groupon. Click here to join http://www.groupon.com/r/uu924095 (http://www.groupon.com/r/uu924095).  For those who do not know what Groupon is. They have a deal everyday but a certain number of people must commit to the deal before anyone gets it. If enough people do not want that days deal no one gets it or is commited.

Cool stuff.

I'll pass on the spa day and hold out for the deals on some new tools or a cool samurai sword or something.  ;D

On another note, their unsubscribe page is one of the funniest things on the internet.

Groupon has a historic bike tour on today half off. Looks like they have a Riverside-Avondale, Beaches, San Marco and Olde Mandrin. Here is the link. http://www.groupon.com/r/uu924095 (http://www.groupon.com/r/uu924095)

Is there any sort of sign-up fee or do you just register?

Let's say you tell them you are going to take advantage of the sushi deal.. do you pay over the internet first and then go get your sushi?

It's a great concept.  I've never heard of it before.

No fee to register but if you buy one you do pay for it on the site. Tip that has worked for me if you are planing a trip start monitoring the groupon for where you going.  I just bought a half off for one of the Architectural river cruises in Chicago where I am going for a convention at the end of the month.

Make sure you set your self up to see the Jacksonville deals.
