Hi all! Plans for the 2010 Jackonville Jazz Festival are going well! The festival will be in the heart of downtown Jacksonville again this year on Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30, and big announcements will be made soon. Right now, complete information and applications are available on our website www.jaxjazzfest.com (http://www.jaxjazzfest.com) for the following festival components to all who want to be a part:
- Art in the Heart Downtown Juried Art Show & Sale: For talented artists and craftspeople
- Generation Next Youth Talent Competition: For young jazz musicians ages 7-21
- Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition: For jazz pianists without a major record label
- Jacksonville Jazz Festival Hall of Fame Nominations: Nominate someone who has made contributions to jazz in Jacksonville

Also, thank you to all who posted feedback about the 2009 festival. We love to hear about everyone's experiences, appreciate all comments, and strive build on the success from last year. We can't wait!
