San Francisco is probably going to end up with those.

They got this one from Blackpool as well.

Interesting design. The price is reasonable, even compared to what I've heard for other heritage streetcars.

Btw - there aren't 40 available, only 1. It says that the others have already been sold.

I've always thought the trains in the UK had a strange appearance, in fact the EU in general has had some of the weirdest, "light in the loafers" railroad designs. The trains in North, Central, South America, all have a strong, no nonsense look about them, rather like a handsome woman with no use for lipstick. Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Africa, are a mixed bag, with many American influences mixed in with the effeminate Britt, French, Italian, and German stuff. For example Ethiopia, is certainly a country with foreign railroad equipment, but the railroads are just basket case enough to be held together with bailing wire, chicken feathers, bubble gum and a prayer. Thus the railroads of Ethiopia, have lost that sissy look and taken on a more rugged can-do appearance.

Streetcars follow pretty much the same pattern but the EU designs are much more limited to the EU, while American influence is wider spread.

But THIS STREETCAR, on this thread, from the UK, has got to be the ugliest, homeliest, morphidite  looking abomination to ever roll on the rails. One of those that fit a unique category of cars from Australia, which are also ugly as hell, but no where near this thing. Oh my, takes my breath away, what a pathetic excuse for a streetcar design, it looks more like a beached submarine... Before I read a single word of the text, I thought OH GOD! What an ugly streetcar, it MUST be from the UK!

Sure Enough.

Only the Britt's could make a car so ugly that you love it out of pity. SWEET!
