Title: Theatre Jacksonville is celebrating 90 years!
Post by: TheatreJax on February 04, 2010, 11:21:07 AM
Treats, tangos and ‘tini’s at Jacksonville’s Ultimate Cast Party...

Theatre Jacksonville has been creating scenes on the First Coast for 90 years!  In celebration of this milestone, we are throwing a huge birthday party on February 26!  As one of the oldest continuously producing community theatres in the nation, Theatre Jacksonville has offered an opportunity for people from every walk of life and every degree of talent to collaborate in the creative process of theatre.  Any and all who have played a part (on stage or off) in Theatre Jacksonville’s legacy on the First Coast are invited and encouraged to attend.

The party will be held in the beautiful Atrium of the Aetna Building on Downtown’s South Bank (841 Prudential Drive).  A 5:30 pm cocktail hour starts the evening.  Guests will enjoy an assortment of martinis, wine, beer, soft drinks,  a sumptuous spread of gourmet goodies provided by Anthony’s Gourmet Catering, and live entertainment, compliments of Denny Leroux and his Orchestra...all included in the ticket!

Bring your dancing shoes and your best theatre stories and celebrate with us!  Tickets to the Big Birthday Bash are $40 for singles and $70 per couple (again, includes all food, beverages and fun)!  It won’t be the party of the century (that’s in 10 years), but it’s going to come close…

Is it true that Ben Linus, aka Michael Emerson, from Lost was once a member of Theatre Jacksonville? Invite him to the party.

Yep...all those folks have been invited.  It would be *great* if Michael does make it, but with his schedule it may not be possible.  :::fingers crossed:::   ;)
