Hello Jacksonville!
I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Blakeley Ainsworth, I am the new Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator for The Jacksonville Landing. I have been here at The Landing for just over a year now - I began as an intern last January and was offered a part-time job as an event coordinator and marketing assistant. The beginning of 2010 marked the beginning of my new full-time position at The Landing.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you to make your visit to The Jacksonville Landing more enjoyable. We are here to please YOU - and I will do my best to be sure that happens.
I look forward to seeing you at The Jacksonville Landing, Your Dining, Shopping & Entertainment Headquarters on the beautiful St. Johns River.
Welcome! Glad you checked out the site.
We would love to see your input on some of the landing related things that we've posted in the past.
Thank you for coming aboard. The Landing is so important to Jacksonville we are glad to hear from you here.
Welcome! Love the Landing BTW... :)
Welcome to the madhouse.
Good to have someone at the Landing with us. Be good to hear feedback on some of our crazier ideas and such.
Isn't there a poster named JaxLanding? What is their position at the Landing?? Glad to have all of these downtown business owners and employees on the site.
Quick question for you......will Fuddruckers ever make it to the Landing? I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but I'm hoping you are going to say yes and enable my tummy to say thank you!
Ello! *waves*
Welcome. Good to see you on here.

I think that's Rachel, the Landing business manager?
I believe Rachel has left, and that Blakeley is her replacement.
I think Rachel is at Fidelity now.

Hello from the resident old hippie! Glad to have you
on board with us. Let's talk, I have this streetcar
that needs a home, and y'all need something
off the wall! Hum?
OCKLAWAHA
I second the streetcar idea!
The Landing really does need to get fully on board with the Streetcar plan!
and so do other Downtown/Urban Core businesses!
Welcome!!
Hi Blakeley and welcome! ;D

Hey thanks for joining. Are there any new and interesting in the Landing future we should know about? Im really ready to see it take off.
I can't believe Rodman was fired from Chicago Pizza for stealing an "ahem" item that belonged to the owner. Rodman brought charm and character to the place, something most of their airheads do not.

Anyone that steals from the boss must be destroyed. Rodman will be replaced.
QuoteRodman will be replaced.
Not yet, judging by the airheads that have been hired recently. Some of these people are sharing a single brain cell among them.
Unfortunately, Fudrucker's is a no-go. They tried very hard to come to The Landing, but had several franchise/owner transition issues. We are working on great things though ... don't lose hope!
QuoteKeeping it rolling at the Landing
Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator Blakeley Ainsworth has been one of the people behind the scenes at the Landing for more than a year but only recently joined the staff as a full-time employee.
She first walked on the property as a public relations intern in January 2009 after searching the Web for an unpaid future career-related opportunity in Jacksonville where her parents live. Then Ainsworth accepted a part-time summer job while attending Georgia Southern University where she was pursuing a degree in public relations.
