Does anyone here know if there is a place in Jax that I can buy szechuan buttons (Acmella oleracea)??
Its just expensive to buy stuff like that online. :-\

I haven't seen them here in town. I had them at some goofy "foodie" event in Orlando and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. I got the buzzing sensation but I wouldn't call it pleasant. I guess it's neat that it was coming from food but beyond that there just isn't much to it. It tastes like lawn clippings and the salivary response is akin to what you experience when you're about to vomit.
