Well - there's a huge fact error in their story today.  I sent an email over to several reporters asking for a correction.  Hopefully they will make it right.  Here's what I said:

"I read today’s article “Part I: A Day in the Life of Downtown Jacksonville” and noticed a very prominent fact error.

The article says, “Though it’s changed names and locations, the store has been in the Landing since it opened 22 years ago. The only other business that can make that claim is Hooters.”

That is absolutely not true and I would like to request a correction be printed.  The Landing has eight tenants that have been here since it opened in 1987.  I am listing the eight for you below:

1.American Café/Silver Spoon (same company, changed the name similar to what the Toy Factory did when they changed their name from Fun n’ Games)
2.Body Shop
3.Coastal Cookies
4.Flamers
5.Great Wraps
6.Hana & Her Sister (was a push cart location when we opened and later moved into a retail storefront, but still an original tenant all the same)
7.Hooters
8.The Toy Factory"
