Title: Distribution Centers - The Future of Cecil Field?

I thought I would post this since distribution centers are the JEDC's 'tenant of choice' for Cecil Field.  Personally, I don't see the vaalue in wasting that precious resource on $11 a hour jobs, many of which are part-time.

I can understand my hometown of Florence SC (population 30,000, metro 125,000) getting excited about this, especally since the area has been hit with manufacturing downsizing.  However, a city as large as Jax should aim higher, much higher.  That is especially the case with a class A site like Cecil Field.

These distribution centers are a step backwards. They are industrial call centers. Cecil does not need to be wasted.
