If there was a game that we should have won this year... it was the one yesterday....
What the hell is going on Jaguars??? COME ON!!!!!!!
>:(
It was hard to tell when watching that game which quarterback had not started in over a year. Running was the main offensive factor for the Titans, but Young played the way you are supposed to in that situation. He completed dink passes, kept drives alive, and picked up short first downs. This season is scarily resembling last season.
Well at least Jones-Drew had a big day, helping me win my fantasy football matchup. ;D

And he was pretty much all we had going for us. Heh...
You could here a couple more strands of the pier rope holding Del Rio's job break yesterday.
That ship is close to being let go.
Garrard played terrible. He looked lost out there. He overshot wide open receivers on more than one occasion.
They have to draft a quarterback next year in one of the early rounds. This team needs a franchise quarterback. David is above average, but we will be wasting Jones Drew's prime over the next few years if this team can't create a consistent passing threat.
Garrard did not look like he was worth 60 million bucks. He's had 1 good season and been mediocre since then. I agree, need a QB to draft, probably 2, and some D-linemen worth a damn. Harvey was overpaid, Mercedes Lewis was overpaid, Reggie Nelson should be traded, he is so bad.
I don't think Marcedes Lewis is that bad. His hands have been much better this year. But the offensive line is so bad he has to stay back and block often.
The Jaguars need to not draft anymore Florida defensive players. Both Nelson and Harvey have been terrible picks. Harvey could still improve, but he seems to be a rotational end, not the everydown pass rusher he is being paid as. As for Nelson, he is terrible. He is the perfect example of how athleticism can make someone so good in college, but medicore in the pros where everyone else is also so athletic.
QuoteI don't think Marcedes Lewis is that bad.
Lewis is horrible, he runs like an old woman. Earnest Wilford could beat him hands down in a 40 yard dash. Lewis caught a Garrard pass, a miracle based on yesterday, started running east west, toward the sideline, gets caught up with some Titan defenders, then has the ball stripped from him, as they STAND HIM STRAIGHT UP. Once stripped he does not even fight for the ball.
He's dead weight with the jags, now that Wilford is back and can actually make a play.
That game would have been MUCH different if the O-line could keep the pressure off of the quarterback. IMO, the sole difference bewteen Garrard and Young was that Yound had MUCH more time in the pocket to make plays.
IMO, we need the O-line to improve and get back to the tried and true defensive powerhouse that the Jags have been known for. Being one of the worst in the league is not helping.
The game would have been much different if they just decided to give jones-drew the ball more. i don't know when they decided we were a passing team all of a sudden. plus david garbage was horrible yet again. i wish they would picka qb this year, but i don't see any qb worth taking except ponder. with our luck i doubt he comes out this year.

Thats a complete fabrication. He caught the pass and ran at least 20 yards downfield.
And they want to draft Tebow? He'll probably be a bust too.

Did he or did he NOT get stripped of the football? Can I get an AMEN?

"When keeping it real goes WRONG"
He probley wont make it as a QB
but I could see him as a reciever(doubt it) or running back or something along the lines and doing quiet well for himself
besides it really doesn't matter if he does good or not the first season
he will put butts in the seats, diehard fans of his that alone would be worth having him. Plus I can see it as a major moral booster and would help pychy push the team
he can suck but it would still be good for the team as a whole, and a rather practical business move. He WANTS to be here so that means he would be willing to take less money to get him here, to bring fans in, and all.
he can get hurt or sit on the bench all season long for all I care, but it would be smart to pick him up
