Not too sure about this.
I hear a lot of people say that the Jaguars will sell more tickets if they win more games. The Cubs are known for loosing a lot too. How do they keep selling tickets?
They had a 100 year head start.
Too many fairweather fans in this city...
Ummmmmmmm....... Chicago metro area is a little bigger and there are a few more people....
Actually the cubs are having issues selling tickets also.

Plus "a record-setting day Saturday when the Chicago Cubs drew 13,010 fans" is a lot less than the 60K needed for the Jags to sell out. The Chicago Metro area has twice the population of the Jacksonville Metro area, however, it could be argued that they also have more competition for the sports entertainment dollar (NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB).
Now, if you want to compare the Jags verse Bears attendance, well no contest, the Bears crush us. The least number in attendance for the Bears this year is 62,192 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Chicago_Bears_season (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Chicago_Bears_season) ) and that was for a game against Detroit.
That is the Cubs spring training attendance in Arizona.
The Jags have existed for 15 years, to compare them to a franchise such as the Bears in one of the US's biggest metropolitan cities is a joke..... I bet the Chicago Fire of the MLS have about the same amount of fans going to games, and they play like 16 home games every year.
The real issue is we need more people to buy tickets and support the Jags, we need to have a 1 in 10 have tickets compared to a 1-25 in bigger cities... So get those wallets out people and when the Jags come back 3-2 from Seattle, lets sell out the Rams game and watch our team go to 4-2 and on a 4 game win streak... Also we need more fans from Orlando, Daytona, Palm Coast, Brunswick, and Savannah. I have my tickets and won't give them up, I sacrifice other things in life in order to have my tickets. I am in my 6th season and I plan on having them for as long as I can, so when the day comes that this city grows so much that tickets are sold out game after game, I will already have mine and not have to worry.

Opps! I stand corrected. That's what I get for not reading more thoroughly.
Actually you were right comparing the Cubs attendance to the Jags according to these numbers.
