Tebow, took a solid hit to the chest in the 3Rd qtr. against KY.. On the way backward towards the ground, he was ran over by two KY players, which snapped his head forward and back in a violent shock movement. He was flat on the field for some time and has been pulled out of the game, with speculation on whiplash, which COULD end has career.
OCKLAWAHA
I have been so sick of the Tebow talk lately, but when I saw him lying on the ground, I think I might have discovered that I am a Tim Tebow fan.
I am very pleased that he got up and walked off the field.
He is at a hospital in Lexington, likely suffering from a concussion, not whiplash. His head hit the knee of another FL player.
Now, I'm not saying I'm happy he is injured, but this will bring the people that think he is God-like back to earth real quick. Even Superman can go down, and hard.
Next week is their bye/idle week, but if it is a concussion, he may likely be out for the following game AT LSU in Baton Rouge.
Tough hit. Obviously, I don't know if the puking as he was being wheeled off was a result of concussion or the flu (errr...respiratory ailment as the P/R has dubbed it) that he and several others came into the game with.

Who thinks he is "God-like"? The media (locally and nationally...drives this sh#t)...tremendous athlete...by all accounts from folks I know a very good dude. I don't think that he sees himself as a messiah or anything.
He may not, but some people do, like the media.
Now, on a more serious note, Urban Meyer should be questioned seriously for having his star player playing with flu-like symptoms, in the 3rd quarter, and in a blowout game.
Meyer will likely and rightfully be grilled for this, as this is a serious error in character and judgement.
Agree. Made that statement at the half.
Honestly, IMO, this kinda shows what kind of person Meyer is.
Not only will the media grill him, but the Athletic Director may question Meyer as to why he was playing not just tebow, but other players like Riley Cooper, when they're clearly suffering from the flu.
If Tebow is out for 2 weeks, which is usually the minimum for a concussion, and they lose to LSU, Gator fans will question Meyer as a coach and wonder wtf he was thinking in Kentucky. If it is a more serious concussion, he may be out for 3-4 weeks, and that could be potentially devastating, at least in their BCS hopes. Top 10 teams have been dropping like flies in the first 4 weeks already.

but he did this last year every game...just so Timmy's # were padded for potential Heisman...it didn't make sense then and it doesn't now.
btw...for those who haven't seen the replay 20 times on TV, it appears the shot to the back of the head came from one of his own o-linemen
