Title: Why isn't JAXPORT competing for $45 million Wind Energy Grant ?

I wonder if JAXPORT, JEDC have pursued this at all?  Does the port have unused and available acreage for something like this?

This could become the basis for a new economic pillar.

Thats easy...........no vision or plan of what could be! Jaxport can not see beyound its collective noses and this is something that never occured to them. I guess Mr Ferrin has more important issue's to deal with huh?
