It's Official: Parking Laws Change

Yesterday the Mayor (and a staff of thousands) came over and made the first truly breathtaking change in downtown policy since the Faustian 1971 Plan for Utopia.You would have to go back to the Haydon Burns Administration before you found anything as fundamental as Parking being changed significantly. Even the massive cash hemorrhaging from the corporate welfare of the 80s and 90s pales in comparison to the actual numbers of Jacksonville citizens who will be directly affected by this change.

This is a great thing and overdue - but it is done now and IT WILL MAKE THINGS BETTER DOWNTOWN.  After all, making downtown better is what we all say we want.  Did the merchants help write this bill?

 Met Jax made a breathtaking change in Jax. Now they are patting themselves on the back for a job well done. While at the same time thanking and mocking the mayor, as usual. That part of it is a shame though. Especially since it would benefit metjax to make nice with our two term mayor.
