This sounds pretty cool. I am sure to hit up that FSU Miami game, especially for free. I wonder if they will let people bring in food to eat?
FREE FOOTBALL: Huddle up at 5 Points Theatre
Word is that the 5 Points Theatre in Riverside will be mixing in some SEC college football games into their fall lineup. They've got beer. They've got popcorn. Admission don't cost nuthin'. What have you got to lose?
Coming up:
Thursday, Sept. 3: South Carolina vs. North Carolina State (7 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 5: Georgia vs. Oklahoma State (3:30 p.m.)
Monday, Sept. 7: Miami (FL) vs. Florida State (8 p.m.)
SWEET!
Thats a really cool idea....
We're going to be having BBQ on site for the Saturday games, and of course we've got pizza from Pizza Palace, popcorn, plus movie theatre nachos!
We're generally going to be showing the big SEC matchup of the week, with a preference toward Gator games, then FSU, Miami and Georgia.
The NCAA championship basketball games were a whole lot of fun.
FSU v. Miami.
if i don't go to the game, i'll prolly watch it there....
This is a great idea!
Very Cool! I am moving back to the neighborhood this weekend and I am very excited.
I can't wait to see FSU on the big screen.
Interesting idea. I do not really think of 5 Points as being a big football fan base, but I will certainly check out a Thursday night game sometime. Or maybe a Saturday game when I am not seated in Doak Campbell!
I live a block away on Post St., have no cable, and will be there almost every Saturday, ESPECIALLY for LSU games. Hope the BBQ is good.
Count me in for the Florida State game.
GO CANES!
