I wish I could go. Oh well, that's the curse of being a Jacksonville history buff who lives 600 miles away. My next planned visit to Jacksonville isn't until September. I'd be happy to meet Emily too, as I've only spoken to her over e-mail before.
If someone would be so kind as to post a summary of the best stories from this event it would be much appreciated!
If I didn't have Nationals on Labor Day, I'd cancel my rehearsals and go to this as well. I know I'd have a blast! Someone take notes for me! :D
Stephen - Ditto, Jerry Spinks is a close second, in terms of amazing!

Emily Lisska is one of the most amazing women, not to mention one of the most captivating speakers in the city of Jacksonville.
We should organize a metrojacksonville meet up for all us history buffs at this event.

This was a fantastic evening!
Sorry, not to make it. Events like this should be recorded and put on YouTube for all to enjoy and treasure. Was that done here?
How does someone get in touch with her for a speaking engagement?
Thanks Stephen

It would be an honor to finally meet Emily. I have spoken to her, but never met her. I regret that I was not so much a part of Metrojacksonville at the time this was posted. I am certain she is an amazing lady.
Congratulations, Emily Lisska! Well deserved:
