I've seen lots of posts talking about specific bars happy hours and what not and I thought it would be a good idea if we kept a running list of good happy hour(s) locations. I just moved to riverside, and the happy hour I usually hit up is E-Streets. So, locals please share your fav happy hour spots and the specials. Thanks!
O'Brothers has a nice :) hour and it starts up again every nightafter 10pm.
2.50 Domestics
3 Specialty Brews
5 calls
Sneakers on Baymeadows and 9A. Every weekday 2pm to 7pm. 2 for 1 bottles and well drinks. 1/2 priced drafts including premiums. A 22oz Newcastle ends up being $3 and change.
Wall Street is always cheap, and they still have happy hour specials.
I also inadvertently discovered that Beach Bowl has an awesome happy hour if you're into that whole bowling thing. Draft pints are buy one get one free, so two beers only cost a dollar and change.
The Alibi in Murray Hill has 1.50 draft happy hour I believe, but I only go there at about 1am, so maybe someone else can confirm.
Perfect Rack Billiards has 1.75 domestic pints I think.
E-street is probably the best...2 for 1 drafts, any size.
Definitely down with the E-Street.
Also, when la nop opens on Roosevelt they will have the same 5-7pm 2-for-1 margaritas as all the other locations.
The best happy hour, hands-down, used to be 1171. They had 2-4-1 on everything including premium cocktails. I don't know of any other place where you could get belvedere or grey goose V&T's for $3 each, tangueray martinis for $4.50 each, etc., etc., etc.
Most happy hours exclude the top-shelf stuff, and I gave 1171 props for not following the trend. It's really SUCKY that they closed, I have to find a new place now. I think their location killed them. That level of food and price point was probably stretching it a bit for murray hill. :'(
Marks is pretty much half off everything I believe. Free food, while it last on Thursday & Friday too. Get there early because those lawyers can really wear out some free food....kidding ::)
Oh Kristin... you drunk.
;)
Square One is good because their happy hour lasts till 9, which is good for me considering I get off work at 7 everyday and usually miss out on the economical fun.
Edit: (Whoops, nevermind their happy hour ends at 7 also. It must have been the $2 domestic draft Wednesdays that I got it confused with)
