I saw the commercial on this, but does anyone have a clue what it could be?

didn't the times union do something similar a while back and then it was just something lame about how few people read their paper in print any more
What the net saying? Obviously either something someone is very proud of, or something "Hollywood" with a media splash. That said it could be the largest religious revival or some other heavy PR type event, rather then a "Thing". This should be interesting at the least.
Something like this happened back about 1980 with thousands of billboards, bumperstickers and Tee Shirts that read "I Found It!" After a couple of months of tease, they posted 800 numbers and people nationwide crashed the switchboards! "It?" Was God. (Something I'm not toatlly comfortable with such a label) but some zillionaire gave out millions of books and Bibles. Then the sarcasm started, new stickers and shirts "I found it but lost it..." "I never had it"... "I don't want it"... etc.

Maybe it will be the worlds biggest fish wrapper! !@#*(@! WOW!
Working at a Marina as a kid, I learned the official medium to handle eels is newsprint. The slim on their bodies stick to the news print like glue. Sort of poetic if one thinks about it. OCKLAWAHA

Oh yea! Something like, "Beware the 26" or some such? Wasn't that representing that only 26% of people in Jax read the paper or something?
This better be good! ;D
Sorry to disappoint, but the domain belongs to this company (http://www.mooreandscarry.com/).
Looks like they handle marketing for a number of car dealerships in town, so my guess is some lame tent sale or something like that.
ZZZZZZZZ.
Thanks ac.
Not a problem. I hate being a buzzkill, though :-[
I would say tax increase, but we received that news today, 062409.
Whatever is coming, do we really need it compared to what we have now?
I pulled this address off of my "loading from" indicator when going to the 6/30/09 site:
http://info.automotive-enewsletters.com/
From this, I clicked on "test" and got this:
http://info.automotive-enewsletters.com/?p=44
It's loaded with auto ad videos so I guess one is headed our way.
On another site, there is speculation it's for Acura of Orange Park. It, along with several other Orange Park dealer domain sites, is listed on the above site's "MSA domain" page:
http://info.automotive-enewsletters.com/?page_id=57
I don't think this leaves much doubt as to what is up now!! ;D
So today is the day....and nothing happened.
The Return of Buddy Hutchinson????
Buddy Hutchinson...that is great!
Who the heck is Buddy Hutchinson?
I don't get anything on that site, just the white bow in the middle with a descent night skyline shot.
Cigarette price increase?

When I searched the date the cigarette price increase is what came up... thought maybe it was truth campaign... I dunno.
There's an Ancient Ships exhibit opening up today at the Karpeles Museum.
Maybe that's "new"? Well, "old" new, somehow I doubt they're supposed to be THAT exciting.
Maybe this website is from the same guy who had the entertainment theme park and the fake full moon.
WTF
Hmmm, Click It or Ticket?
How about the clip from Network, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore".
so...today was the day.
what happened? will jax be the same when i return?
I saw a commercial last night, it was for Jack Hannania's VW of orange park. pretty life changing event indeed.
I figured it was either going to be the end of days or a new VW dealership in Clay County.
interesting thing is it's actually in Duval County, Blanding Blvd by Townsend Rd, a good amount of the dealers on blanding in that area are named " of orange park" could never quite understand that
Because they're 2 minutes from Orange Park...when people think of Blanding Blvd, they think of Orange Park. "Westside" car dealerships are on Cassatt Avenue. Besides, "Orange Park" sounds much more prestigious than "Westside", and the majority of the new dealerships on Blanding are higher end brands...Acura, Audi, Mercedes, etc.
WTF Why launch a dealership campaign on a Tuesday?
::shrugs::
Why do new music and movie releases come out on Tuesday?

Because you can pick up the new music online or buy a cd on your lunch break. You can seea movie after work with showtimes running through midnight.
Never met anyone who bought a car on their lunch break or midnight...
What if you took a really REALLY long lunch? Just to go in and sign paperwork anyway...
When I bought my truck it took all weekend :D
I wonder if their service department breaks headlights like they did to me at the old location, and then fail to fix it.
No I'm not bitter.
Pizza Hut becomes, just, The Hut....maybe?
Pizza The Hut...haha, did nobody in the board room that voted for that name change see Spaceballs?!

Apparently not, that's the first thing I thought of too!
I don't understand why Pizza Hut had to re-brand in the first place. Some marketing consultant is laughing all the way to the bank on that one.
Pizza Hut didn't need a hip, new name to help their image. They needed to stop making shitty pizza.
