There's not a Jack In the Box fast food restaurant in Florida or Georgia, yet I see their commercials regularly on t.v.
Usually if a franchise isn't in your region, they don't advertise there, but these commercials have been on t.v. for quite some time.
Normally I wouldn't care, but after trying them out while visiting Seattle, I found their burgers to be quite tasty and the commercials are basically a form of torture to me now.
I suppose we have Hardees for our 1000+ calorie burger needs, but it's not the same.

I've been seeing Red Robin commercials lately, too...wtf?!
Maybe comcast is being lazy about selling off commercial time. Usually when something's advertised that's out of the viewing area they'll replace it with a local commercial or one of those god-awful 1-800 Ax Gary Commercials.
don't be scurrred and confused!
I have been told Red Robin had plans for SJTC and San Jose. It was in the fall and haven't heard anything else.
Jack in the Box is awesome....I grew up going there (before they pulled out of Maryland)....and I make a point to stop in at least once each time I go to the west cost....in fact, I had breakfast there last week while in San Diego!
They'll probably build one soon....like Kohl's. Those commercials played for alomst a year before the store opened. :-\
I just want 7-11 back. I grew up drinking Slurpees and eating big bite hotdogs in VA, then I move down here and some crappy "jiffy" called Lil' Champ supposedly bought out all the 7-11 in town, now I got nothing. LAME!
Handi-Way ==> Huntley Jiffy ==> Lil Champ ==> Kangaroo? Is that the sequence? BTW, isn't Carl's Jr. the Hardees of the west?

yes...Carl's and Hardees are the same

The have then down south. I got a Slurpee in Melbourne. They just don't have them here in Jax.

Yeah they have them as close as Palm Coast/Daytona I believe...that still doesn't help me. =)
I had some friends visiting that we're bananas to try Sonic. They got the commercial's in NJ where they lived but didn't have one anywhere near them. It was quite the disappointing visit. Sonic is garbage.
I see Long Johns Silvers commercials here all the time but don't think there's one in town anymore... and sometimes I really want some LJS!
Yeah Sonic makes Krystals look like 5 star dining.
Tree, I grew up with slushies too, but here in Jax. I believe the best ones in town were served at the "Jiffy" stops. We're talking late 80's though.
And wasn't there also another convenience store called Starvin Marvin' back in the day? I remember buying those tiny sponges that would expand into animal shapes when you'd add water from there.

We used to have Jack in the Box here in the late 70's, early 80's. The were owned by Ralston Purina (yes, the animal food company) at the time and that was apropos because some would say their pet food line was better ;) ! I have never been back. Maybe they have improved/revised their line up since then based on comments here.
For really quality burgers and food, 5 Guys is the place to go.
Agree! Five Guys beats 'em all, bar-none.
There's a Long John Silvers on Beach, heading out towards the Intracoastal. It's packaged with a KFC/A&W I think. The one in Arlington may or may not still be open? The one on San Jose in Mandarin is long gone.
Concur!
There is a LJS in Springfield on Main and one on Edgewood in the Paxon area.
