Direcly across from the old Boomtown, next door to the Moneytree Pawnshop, where the old day car used to be (red and white building) The owners have plans to open a new Crab and Seafood restaurant by the end of the summer.
It will be open at night as well as for lunch.
No other details at this time.
Crab and Seafood? ???
Sounds good. It will be good to see something lit up on that side of the street at night.
Excellent!
The site is the white building in this image

Sax?
That's a pretty good-sized space. Will they be using all of it? Wasn't there a day care in there? Anyone know what happened to it?
What group is opening it? Who are they catering too? Etc, etc.
hopefully not cheap seafood
fried whiting, anyone?
Glad to see a new restaurant opening on Main St.
Since the Chicken Koop closed down (with their pimp chicken) maybe they'll put a pimp crab on their logo?
No, it's because I miss the chicken dressed as a pimp.
:D
You may have an idea there! That will surely grab some attention to the new place.
Probably some of the best advertising the place will ever have. :)
I miss the chicken too but I'm hoping for something a little less ghetto and a little more upscale or at least bohemian to come to Main.
I'll put a $1 in the pot for Stephen to dress up as a pimp chicken!
I'm tossing in five... do I hear ten? :D
$10 from me.
