Excellent photos! Especially loved the one taken in the Berkman courtyard, (great composition), also the one with the water taxi.
im still not sure who this hightower guy is... but no i dont love him.
Excellent shots Lunican! I agree with Seraphs, the shot from the Berkman courtyard is the best.
hi everybody. are any of you guys peninsula buyers???? we bought a unit there and are happy to see that there is enough interest to create a thread like this. theyre knocking out the 31st floor this week. based on their having built 9 floors over the past 12 weeks, im guessing that the structure itself will likely be up by late september or october 2007. god only knows when they'll actually finish the building - we think september 2008 is a good guess although the developer was quoted in jacksonville business as saying they hoped by the end of the year??????? i have to give it to them though, even with the auchter to skanska transition those guys were out there all weekend building (we live within view of the building). we'll see.......................
here are some more peninsula construction photos from a slightly different perspective than above. these were taken on july 9, the highest floor in these is 31 (final floor to be 37)
Welcome to MetroJacksonville! Glad to see some future residents chiming in. I bet watching your future home rise from the dust is quite exciting, especially a home that tall!
Here are a couple shots I took this afternoon...
