I'm hooked.

The character of Walter is absolutely genius.  That guy makes the show what it is.

Last night's episode where he picked up the sandwich at the car wreck and started eating away was hilarious!

Great link!   I've been trying to figure out the commercial images since the beginning.  Pretty neat that it forms a code.

Did you watch last night?  I love the connections in the show to Jacksonville.  Who would've know we had top secret government experiments going on 30 years ago!?  :)

I did Jason... the show just keeps getting better and better.  I think we are going to find out that Olivias father was stationed at mayport and thats where she got injected with... well whatever that was. :)

Is that the stuff that got injected into the ground water at Hipps Rd.? ;)

I have not seen this yet, but I'm sure I'd like it. I loved X-files and Lost, the latter of which I'm currently obsessed with. Anybody watch that one?

I used to watch the X-Files but haven't gotten into Lost.

This is very similar to the x-files...  I wish I had discovered Lost when it began.

never quite got into LOST or HERO. I wish I had though. It is really hard to divide my time between all the TV shows  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I love Heroes but haven't been able to watch much of the newest season because of growing competetion with my wife's preference of One Tree Hill at the same time....  :(

Meh I lost interest in Heroes. Season one was great but it got kind of unfocused after that.

I'm almost jealous of anyone who hasn't seen Lost yet. I miss watching it on DVD for the first time. Having to wait a week in between each new episode is painful.

Man, the Jacksonville connections in the show make me wonder if the writers are from around here.

Crazy episode last night.  What's everyone's take on how the finale will shake out?

:D The plot thickens... and apparently lil ol Jacksonville Fla. is the epicenter. ;D

I wonder if my pediatrician was really Dr. Bishop.... I'm sure I too recieved a couple of those shots in preparation to be "activated" for the comming catastrophe!

How about the conspiracy thory by the Star Trek guy.  He was actually making sence until he claimed he was a Klingon.

Yeah Spock.  Sorry fatcat!  ;)

HA!!!!  Now Spock is real!  So the conspiracy guy wasn't so wrong after all, except in stating the HE was spock.  :)

The ending scene was pretty creepy with the images of the twin towers.

I can't wait for the next season.

Synopsis of "There's More Than One of Everything"

http://fringepedia.net/index.php?title=There%27s_More_Than_One_of_Everything

QuoteWalter walks back through the cemetery. He stops in front of the same gravestone as before. He withdraws the coin from his pocket, his eyes now wet with tears. He places the coin on the top of the grave, which reads: Peter Bishop 1978-1985

This will be interesting... :)

And I was wrong about 9/11... looks like it just happened differently...

QuoteOlivia takes in the office's details, notably a newspaper on the coffee table whose headline says that President Obama's family will soon move into the "new White House." A man enters the room. He tells her he's been waiting a very long time for this. Olivia wants to know where she is and who he is. As the man steps out of the shadows to reveal his craggy face, he says the answer to her first question is complicated, but the answer to her second is... that he is William Bell. Olivia turns toward the window, admiring the top floor view of the New York skyline. But something is off; this view should not be possible. Olivia stands there perplexed, as we pull back to see that she is inside one tower of the still-standing World Trade Center.

Title: Re: Fringe
Post by: Jason on May 13, 2009, 12:03:38 PM
I noticed the headline on the newspaper as well.

Looks like Walter Bishop jumped to an alternate reality and brought back an alternate son... Man, this plot is getting thick fast!

I'm sure there will be much more revealed about Olivia and Walter's past.  Maybe there is a much stranger and deeper connection than we know.

Also, will she become able to control her ability to see alternate realities and maybe even jump at will?

Who's to say Walter brought Peter back from an alternate reality?
What if it was the alternate version that died? Didn't he say that Walter wasn't really around much or he didn't remember him being there a lot when he was younger?
When he left that note and nobody knew where he went, it's possible he jumped over to the OTHER cemetery.

It's possible that Walter was jumping between the two in the past and therefore was 'gone' from home a lot.

I've been waiting for this one!  Seems like its been years!

Thanks for posting the recap BT.  I think I'm going to spring for the season DVD when it comes out.  It will be nice to watch the whole thing though with waiting a week in between installments.

What do you think will become of Spock... er Mr. Bell?

And lets get some local Jacksonville filming going on!  A flashback maybe?

Don't have broadband at home...

I'm going to be taking care of that one soon too.

Oh you MUST have broadband - it rocks for Hulu viewing!

I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm readyreadyreadyready...  I really can't wait to see the first 10 minutes to hopefully explain my own theories.
I'm supposed to pack tonight for a weekend trip tomorrow morning, but I'll have to do it during those very 'limited' commercial breaks.
Anybody know how much one can pack in 90 seconds?? :P

Awesome start to the new season... looks like we lost one agent and gained another.  Did anyone else notice the two references to The X-Files?  Once in the congressional hearing and I think I saw Mulder in and X-file episode playing on a TV in the background one one scene.  I forsee a possible cameo for Mulder in an upcoming episode...

Really?  I didn't catch either mention.

I have to say that I like the new agent better than the other....  :)  much easier on the eyes.

What I don't understand is why the shapeshifter gave up the device that allowed him to shift.  Should be interesting see what becomes of it.

That is what is so fun about this show... the hidden clues.  You cannot just watch the characters and obvious action.  Watch the background... what is laying on the desk... what is on the TV behind the bar... who are the people crossing the street... 8)

After wathing last night, I guess it is possible to travel to alternate dimensions.

I could really use that window that Walter had!

I was amazed at how well they were able to cover Walter's age.  The 80's retro intro was also rad!

I can't wait to see how much more in depth they go on the past experiements and if we get to see Liv as a little girl.  Maybe we'll see some more talk about Jacksonville?
