According to a source at Orsay, the Cafe Carmon Space has been leased to Keily and Sam, former employees of Orsay Restaurant who have decided to pursue their own restaurant dreams.
They two have apparently looking for a space in the San Marco Area for some time when miraculously the Carmon space came open.
The restaurant, as yet unnamed will be an american fusion restaurant with and emphasis on italian and spanish cuisine elements.
Paella and Pizza were both mentioned in the discussion.

Interesting time to be opening a restaurant. Well, at least Wayne Davis' family will have someone paying the rent. Perhaps Erica and Jeffrey will also show up there. ;-)

Keily and Sam - Go, I heard from them last night that they plan to be open by the end of the summer, fingers crossed. Will gut and start over inside!
Feature Paella, and southern Italian specialties, Keily's specialties. Anything Sam touches as well turns to gold. Just beer and wine for now, have to go see Elijah at Orsay for the specialtly drinks!
I hope it goes well for them, I can't wait to go there!
