Hi, everyone. I'm a long-time Jacksonville resident; my family moved here in 1970 when I was a child. I've lived most of my life on the Southside, and moved to North Jacksonville in 2006. My parents also still live in town.
I've been coming to this site now and again for a while, just finally decided to register, say hello, and join in and help where I can.
Glad to have you here.
Welcome! :)
Hello Yellowbluffroad. Where on Yellow Bluff are you? I'm a Jax native raised on the S'side and living in Riverside, but never really explored the Oceanway/Cedar Point area until I worked for The Nature Conservancy and worked on land preservation efforts in the Pumpkin Hill Creek/Timucuan Preserve area. I can say that it is absolutely one of the prettiest areas in all of Florida. Some of the bluffs overlooking the Nassau River are just spectacular. The south end of Black Hammock (cedar point) is pretty cool too. Hopefully some of them will become public land for everyone to enjoy one day. Cheers!
