Urban Parks: Veterans Memorial Wall

The Veterans Memorial Wall is located at 1145 East Adams Street, adjacent to the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The quarter-million dollar monument was dedicated in November 1995 and serves as an inspiring tribute to more than 1,500 area war heroes who died defending our nation.

A nice memorial, and the Memorial Day service was very moving.

I believe this is also the only such wall where the names are organized by the high school attended by the service member memorialized.

It is indeed, a wonderful memorial and it's great how the fallen honored are listed as schools attended. That certainly makes it even more personalized.
