Looks like the last few stores in Jacksonville (and all the remaining stores nationwide) are closing.

QuoteNEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Bankrupt electronics retailer Circuit City Inc. said Friday it has asked for court approval to close its remaining 567 U.S. stores and sell all its merchandise.
I spent too much money there in my teenage years. RIP.
Circuit City went out of business here in Atlanta in November and December. Wait until late in the sale to go there, if you are looking for something. They had a bad habit of marking things above retail before marking them down, so other than CD's and some of the video games, there will not be many deals until the last couple of weeks. Most of the computers, stereo equipment, and televisions will still be there at that point.
They are in liquidation, so that means a liquidating company is handling everything. SO beware. Everything is marked up to MASRP, and then the discount is taken off, so you are probably paying more now than it was last week.
Also, they will probably be carrying brands they don't normally carry. When Sofa Express had their decade long Going out of Business sale, they were bringing in furniture they never sold and selling it for over retail.
