Title: Looking for an apartment in Riverside or Avondale
Post by: TREE4309 on January 12, 2009, 08:15:49 PM
looking for a decent 1-bedroom apartment in Riverside or Avondale for a single female (30 years old) with a large friendly and well-behaved dog.  Her budget is $650/month, which seems reasonable.  However, finding a place on a safe, well-lit block that isn't a total dive has been very difficult.  Would prefer something with off-street parking, hardwood floors, relatively updated and clean.  We're searching Craigslist daily, newspaper, Folio, visited Atkinson and Heth Realty offices and drove all over the area writing down phone number on signs...still the picking is pretty slim due to the dog.  Any other suggestions?  Know someone?  Seen something?  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

There's a small (and when I say small, I mean *very* small) loft/studio apt above a garage behind my apartment.  PM me for the information and I can get you connected with my landlord.

She'd prefer a more traditional complex, plus a studio is probably too small for the dog.  Thanks for the idea, though!

TC:  You should charge more for that.  You are pricing your apartment too low.
