$3 per article? Here's how to get them for free
Many newspapers have started the practice of charging a fee to search their archives and retrieve old articles. Fantastic! This has been bugging me for a few weeks. Particularly the stupid lack of a flat-rate subscription option. I would have been willing to pay a flat $5 or $10 a month for this service, but the $3 per article charge was just too much.
But free works out even better... ;D
This is still valid for anyone that may have missed it two years ago.
I have not run across an article yet that requires payment yet... but it is good to know that when I do my library card will save me 3 bucks. When a paper charges for an article is there a link to this site so you can use the library card? Or do I have to got to the site and search for the article again?
