So I am expermenting with expanded my bread making abilities....but can't seem to locate anywhere locally that offers bread flour..... does anyone have any tips? I hate having to order flour via the internet!
I just bought cake flour at Winn Dixe and they also have bread flour, you really have to look real good in the section where they sell cake mixes etc. Good Luck. I used the cake flour for banana bread came. I am happy to say it tasted very good, Martha would be proud of me. ;D

Thanks! I will check it out, I have been ordering King Author on the web and was juts sick of having to wait for it if I forgot to order it in time ;D
We've found King Arthur bread flour --even sometimes organic--at Riverside Publix. Fresh Market also carries some King Arthur.
Spouse bakes and he swears by the stuff. Of course, he also orders off of the internet if needs something with a certain ash or gluten content that is not available in local stores or if we need Irish course flour for brown bread.
