Financial News and Daily Record had a good article last week on the commuter rail study.

Wow they just reported the story without trying to inject the journalists opinion.  See there TU staff it can be done professionally.

Definately, a much better article that puts things in their perspective place.

Didn't Ock or someone else post this article last week? I remember reading it off of this site and feeling good about it...and then reading the TU story several days later and no longer feeling so good.

I think it was posted somewhere before.  These two articles show the power the media has with issues like this.  The TU article gives the impression that rail of any form is a complete boondoggle.  This article leaves out media opinions and gives a better overview of the issues at hand.

It's on the http://jacksonvilletransit.blogspot.com/ site, in fact it was posted the same day it came out. Just a little note the description of "James" was changed for effect... Boy was THAT fun.
