Title: Corner of Stockton and Rosselle
Post by: jcjohnpaint on June 14, 2026, 09:41:50 AM
Just drove by corner of Stockton and Rosselle and there seems to be significant work being done on the group of church buildings there. Anyone know what is going on?

Those are owned by JFRD, as is the brick tower across the street. The property is undergoing a renovation to become a JFRD recreational center. Should be a great transformation for that corner.

While the end goal - a firefighter rec center - may be correct, the Jacksonville Association of firefighters owns the church on the west side of Stockton, and the International Association of firefighters owns the fire tower property on the east side.
