Great history.  Would love to have companies that could manufacture the cast ornaments and architectural details of the past.  Added so much character to buildings.  Much seems to be a lost art.  Probably a few artisans left in Europe?  Most buildings today are soulless, one looking just like the next with no memorable or interesting features.  So much more attention to details and pride of ownership in the past.
