Another interesting look at a piece of Jacksonville history.
Looking at the map of the area, it seems to be a combination of a 'traditional grid' and the curvilinear streets that took over later in the century. Which prompts a question - back in college days, a friend lived on Burkholder Circle. Since it is disconnected from the San Souci network, was it a separate development? I'm assuming the Burkholder group that owns the demolition company was involved.
