Just out of curiosity
Firehouse had a location on both the Northbank (corner of Adams and Main) and the Southbank (Baptist) that have since closed.
I so seldom go downtown there's a very slim chance, but I do like Firehouse subs and if it were placed in the right area to take advantage of the downtown office lunch hour, it could get good traffic.
Looks like there's already a Jimmy Johns, Quiznos, Akel's Deli, and Desert Rider, so there's already plenty of sandwich shops, but with the colsure of the SUbway storefront there may be room for a Firehouse.
I would not go out of my way to get a Firehouse sub downtown, though

Imagine all the opportunities that would exist if JTA spent a few million to add a no-frills station in Brooklyn instead of sinking ferries, mismanaging public works grants, and building concrete shoeboxes for manned ambulances to hide from the rain. Jersey Mikes. Panera. Chipotle. First Watch. Panda Express. Burrito Gallery. Burger-Fi. Arepa Please. Vale.
