Title: The Winn-Dixie on Old Kings and Baymeadows will become Aldi.

I have just recently read that, that Winn-Dixie will be converted into an Aldi. They must be planning on only using part of what is currently Winn-Dixie there for the Aldi. That location is a bit too large for an Aldi store.

The Winn-Dixie on San Jose Blvd is the right size for an Aldi, but it is unlikely that, that location will be converted, since there is already an Aldi in the area.

Part of their plan is reducing the footprint of some Winn-Dixie stores & converting them to markets rather than large Publix-like supermarkets. The Winn Dixie's in premier submarkets are not seeing any reduction & remaining as supermarkets.

Not sure if you are familiar with how Tesco operates in the UK, but they essentially have 3 "levels" of grocery stores & Aldi is copying that model here. (Supermarket, Market & Corner Store).
