Really neat pictures!

As someone who long postdates this era, I think the most interesting change is how much more "natural" the Beaches look today, with the addition of the dunes, banning of cars and restyling or replacement of many buildings. I didn't know there was a ferris wheel–that might be missed! The new pier certainly looks sturdier than the one seen in these pictures too. It's also surprising how much hasn't changed–with how much the region has grown, the Beaches don't seem to have quite caught up. With the number of challenges to come I wonder what the future will have in store for this area.
