I can't believe they're keeping that lighthouse (well, I can, as Alex has been saying for years that he wanted to). I kind of love it.

I could be wrong, but IMO they wouldn't have even publicized the conceptual unless the rest is going to be built; however, I understand it (the parking garage for gateway) has to be completed first to have "firm hope" without any convictions that this whole Gateway/Pearl Street development will be built.

In the rendering, it looks like maybe more of a round "observation deck." Are there interior stairs in it like a real lighthouse would have ;D?

Looks, to me, like they are just painting out the black strips and removing the cross at the top.
How many parking spaces will be converted to the retail space? I note the Beaver Street entrance to the garage will be removed.
Hmmm; didn't know that final approval of the Gateway Project had been enacted. Was anyone else aware or just missed it? My bad, I meant renovated; I was well aware that the Parking Garage was already there/completed; wrong use of words LOL. Senior moments worrying my nerves at times. But I'm alright; I'm ok; I'll be alright.
