Talks about bringing intercity passenger rail operations back to downtown dates as far back as the 1990s. Twenty years ago, considerable work was made to detail out proposed station plans and operations. For whatever reason, implementation never came. Nevertheless, they provide a visual example of what may be needed to bring rail services back to the urban core.
