Downtown isn't the only urban core neighborhood in Jacksonville where large infill development projects are under construction. Here are six major urban core projects underway that happen to be outside of Downtown.

Nice that most of these are close enough to contribute to the downtown area anyway. Expanding the growth of the urban core in a way where it's still easily walkable to the Skyway, Flyer, or just into downtown should help bolster the residency numbers and hopefully strengthen the market for more downtown proper projects.
Agreed Marcus. There needs to be more of a zoning focus towards the peripheral neighborhoods. Areas like St Nicholas should have tons of commercial investment given it's location & demographics.
Would be nice to see a Director of Planning and Development interested in really doing that actual planning work.
