I'm surprised that the Whataburger that was recently built in Mandarin has taken so long to open. The building is all complete now, but they never opened. Alot of people in the area were excited about a Whataburger coming to the area, however they never opened.
I recall this also being brought up about a similar store on Atlantic Blvd. I wonder if they are having trouble hiring staff or if the franchisee is having financial issues operating... maybe finish the buildings while trying to sell the franchise to someone else to finally open up these locations.
The Whataburger is now open.
