The railroad crossing in Greenland Rd has been closed for maintenance causing big traffic delays on Greenland Rd. People getting to the crossing having to turn around and go back the other way.
I think there should be a road that connects Greenland Rd to the Avenues Walk overpass. That would be a traffic improvement for Greenland Rd. It would reduce delays caused by the Greenland Rd railroad crossing.
I just looked at a map and found out that there are only two ways out of the Greenland Rd area. The intersections at Philips Hwy and at Old St Augustine Rd. This is pretty strange for a road that is so long and has such high traffic.
The result of overdevelopment and making expressways that have severed former connections to other communities and roads. The big traffic tie up is the elementary school.
