220 apartments, grocer, other commercial spaces, structured parking all planned for 27 East 7th, the former Quality Foods site:

This is like the 5th new proposed grocer in the urban core, so wouldn't hold my breath on that, but apparently the developer has financing secured, pending an approved PUD.
PUD was approved by council earlier this week. We'll see what happens.
Jimmy Saada has also bought some stuff over in the Cathedral District recently (2022). Keep an eye on him, I think he is keen on doing positive things here in Jax.
Apparently they started the demo for this

Started, then stopped.
^Did they have a permit?
I thought the just started the demo last week.
They were issued a demo permit late August according to the permit records.
I have been trying to find information on this development. The last bit of news I've found is the JaxBiz article back in Sep. 2023. The demo on the site has been done for a while so I just wonder if anyone else knows of any movement on this project.
Pardon me if this is not an appropriate question. I'm a new poster on this site
Just drove by a few weeks ago and wondered the same thing.
