--- Spring 2023 ---

Few things missed in Springfield:

A new coffee shop is doing interior build out now at 1501 N. Main Street.

Camp Craft Cocktails is also now building out 2062/2070 N. Liberty.

Phoenix Arts & Innovation District is now doing interior renovation at 2336 N. Liberty (address?)

Good Sandwhich just opened at 157 East 8th, #114

A new jewelry store is doing interior work at 1754 N. Main Street

Thanks for this update! We'll make sure to include them on the next one.

We are working hard at getting Controlled Chaos Fun Park up and running in the old Hardage-Giddens funeral home at 729 Edgewood Ave in Murray Hill. Shooting for June.

One more: Sacred Trade Barber Company is currently renovating 15 East 7th Street to use as space, moving from Murray Hill.

Busy times!

I think the Butt Hut was DOA.  The building is now unbranded and painted black.

I drove past that building on Saturday and it was absolutely packed.  Not sure what it is, but it was popular.

Taverna Oceana in San Marco (former Pure Barre location in the square) is now taking reservations. Currently, doing a soft opening at the moment but they'll be fully open by next week.

The entire building is having a mural painted that wraps the building, and currently includes a Butt Hutt logo- including a portrait of his wife, who passed away last year after battling cancer for many years.

He has been working on the building during the day, and has been parking the truck outside serving in the evenings.  It is not DOA by any stretch.

Good to hear it's still moving forward

The artist who is working on the art & painted the mural of Betsy Bander, is JennVealArt on Instagram. Betsy was a friend of mine since middle school and I'm still broken up from her passing. She lost her battle with breast cancer, but my god did she fight. Jenn is like a little sister that I've known for over 20+ years and it fills me with so much joy to have seen her grow into the artist she is today.

I thought they were tearing it down once the new building is done?

I'm so excited for this one.

Quietly one of the coolest (realistic) projects out there.

Hoping we see something new in the Black Sheep spot sooner than later too.
