Would be nice if this strip could be on both sides (of course up to a certain point). We really need one area downtown with bars, nightclubs, restaurants, etc. to serve not only the night crowd, but baseball fans, football fans, etc., since we no longer have the Landing as THE destination.
The Elbow (which I think this section of buildings includes) is pretty much that. It's not marketed well, and perhaps less cohesive than it could be, but it seems pretty clear that a lot of bars and restaurants and entertainment spots are consolidating around that general area.
