Thanks for that update. I encourage people to go and have their voices heard.. I will be going. This plan might be the worst proposal I have seen, far exceeding the Southbank Storage Building proposal. At the very least they tried to make it look nice...
If the DDRB allows a gas station on a 1.4 acre parcel DT, I'm convinced there's little to no hope left for the greater downtown. This is right between the Northbank activity and the LaVilla redevelopment... The fact it even got this far is another example of the back-door nature of development in JAX. Doubt any national brand would ever attempt this.
"Lets put an underutilized gas station DT between a skyscraper and new development." What a joke.
